PHIL McLEISH - YOUNG PEOPLE'S LAWYER

Funded by Comic Relief, I provide services to children and young people up to 21 (and occasionally 24).

 

Legal problems can be very stressful. I use the law to help prevent mental health problems arising, as well as to support social inclusion and recovery for those who are unwell.

I offer general advice in most areas of law. If I cannot tackle your problem myself I will do my best to refer you to someone who can.

 

I particularly specialise in:

  • Housing: including homelessness and housing possession cases;
  • Education: including school exclusions, and special educational needs provision;
  • Community Care: including obtaining support or services for children or young people with disabilities;
  • Welfare Benefits appeals
  • Employment
